Super Nova Dog Training Center
Teamwork based on trust and fun
Super Nova Dog Training Center

Super Nova Dog Training Center was founded in 2022. The facility sits on 5 acres in Jamestown, SC - about 30 minutes from the North Mt. Pleasant area - in the middle of the Francis Marion National Forest. We are committed to offering dog training classes that create a stronger relationship between human and dog using Positive Reinforcement training methods. Our current class offerings include manners/obedience, dog sports foundations, and scent sports. We hope to add agility and barn hunt classes in 2022-2023.
Meet Christine
Owner & Lead Instructor

Christine is an avid dog lover and trainer! Throughout high school and college, she worked as a veterinary assistant for a veterinary ophthalmologist. After receiving her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the College of Charleston in 2017, she went on to work with a small non-profit that provides services for people with dementia while training dogs on the side.
She has been training her own dogs in dog agility since 2010 and she instructs weekly classes at SCoot Dog Agility to help other dog/handler teams hone their skills. She competes locally and regionally with her dogs in agility and dock diving. She also instructs lessons for companion/pet dogs through Purely Positive Dog Training and strives to help owners raise happy and confident dogs. She uses Positive Reinforcement training with her own dogs and her students' dogs and believes in making training fun for the dog. She and her fiancé share their home with four dogs - two Boykin Spaniels and two Border Collies plus a Siamese cat.
